Calibration & Measurement Forms
The 25 forms that make every AGL testing, commissioning, maintenance, and photometry measurement traceable to an instrument that is correctly identified, calibration-valid, and verified fit for use. Grouped into Calibration Control, Instrument & Equipment Verification, Photometry & AGL Test Equipment, Calibration Status Control, Measurement Quality, Equipment Maintenance & Damage, and Audit & Lifecycle, this division is the measurement-integrity layer underneath every test result the other divisions rely on.
Where this fits — a test result is only as credible as the instrument that produced it. This division sits underneath testing, inspection, maintenance, failure investigation, QA/QC, and asset management alike — every one of those divisions calls on a calibrated, verified instrument from here before it records a measurement, and every out-of-calibration finding here can trigger a retest anywhere else in the library.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about the 25 Division 14 Calibration & Measurement forms, how they are grouped, and how they connect to the rest of the library.
Q1What is Division 14 — Calibration & Measurement Forms in the AGL Engineering Forms & Templates library?
Division 14 is a set of 25 calibration & measurement forms (CAL-01 to CAL-25) in the AGL Engineering Forms & Templates library. It makes every AGL testing, commissioning, maintenance and photometry measurement traceable to an instrument that is correctly identified, calibration-valid and verified fit for use. The forms are grouped into 8 categories: Calibration Control, Instrument Verification, Equipment-Specific Verification, Photometry & AGL Test Equipment, Calibration Status Control, Measurement Quality, Equipment Maintenance & Damage and Audit & Lifecycle.
Q2Which forms are included in Calibration Control, Instrument Verification and Equipment-Specific Verification?
Calibration Control (5 forms): CAL-01 Calibration Register, CAL-02 Calibration Certificate Record, CAL-03 Instrument Identification Sheet, CAL-04 Instrument Issue Record, CAL-05 Instrument Return Record; Instrument Verification (2 forms): CAL-06 Instrument Verification, CAL-07 Measurement Equipment Checklist; Equipment-Specific Verification (4 forms): CAL-08 Multimeter Verification, CAL-09 Clamp Meter Verification, CAL-10 Insulation Tester Verification, CAL-11 Earth Tester Verification.
Q3Which forms are included in Photometry & AGL Test Equipment, Calibration Status Control and Measurement Quality?
Photometry & AGL Test Equipment (5 forms): CAL-12 Photometer Calibration Record, CAL-13 Photometry Equipment Verification, CAL-14 CCR Test Equipment Record, CAL-15 Transformer Test Equipment Record, CAL-16 Cable Test Equipment Record; Calibration Status Control (3 forms): CAL-17 Calibration Due-Date Tracker, CAL-18 Calibration Status Label, CAL-19 Out-of-Calibration Report; Measurement Quality (1 form): CAL-20 Measurement Uncertainty Record.

Q5What is the difference between calibration records and instrument verification forms?
Calibration records maintain the instrument's calibration history: the Calibration Register (CAL-01) is the master register of instruments, and the Calibration Certificate Record (CAL-02) maintains traceability of each certificate. Verification forms check that an instrument is suitable and working before use. The Instrument Verification form (CAL-06) does this generally, and CAL-08 to CAL-11 cover the multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester and earth tester.
Q6How does Division 14 control calibration status and out-of-calibration instruments?
The Calibration Due-Date Tracker (CAL-17) gives advance visibility of upcoming calibrations across the fleet, and the Calibration Status Label (CAL-18) shows an instrument's status at the point of use. The Out-of-Calibration Report (CAL-19) formally controls an instrument found outside its calibration validity. The Instrument Damage Report (CAL-22) records damage and assesses its impact on measurement validity.
Q7Can the forms in Division 14 be downloaded and filled in?
Yes. Each form has a Download as Word button that produces an uncontrolled sample Word template with letterhead, a document-control block, ruled entry fields and a three-tier approval table, ready to print or fill on-screen. Checklist-format forms such as Measurement Equipment Checklist (CAL-07) download with a checkbox and a verified-by line for each item. The forms can also be searched by keyword or form ID.
Q8How does Division 14 connect to testing, inspection and maintenance?
A test result is only as credible as the instrument that produced it. This division sits underneath testing, inspection, maintenance, failure investigation, QA/QC and asset management alike, and each of those divisions calls on a calibrated, verified instrument from here before it records a measurement.
CALIBRATE THE INSTRUMENT. TRUST THE READING.
A calibration certificate confirms an instrument is within tolerance — but knowing why that tolerance matters, and how measurement uncertainty affects your test results, is what makes the reading meaningful.
